| Mark Your Calendars! The Akron District Fall Meeting and Program Tuesday, September 23, 2008 Place: Sheraton Suites, Cuyahoga Falls Registration: beings at 9:00 am Club President's Meeting with Victoria Bergesen at 9:15 am 10:00 am - Barb Holtz will present Ohio Over Time - How Ohio's landscape has changed over time naturally and through human impact - Barb is the manager/naturalist at Look About Lodge in South Chagrin Reservation. She is the founder and president of the Western Reserve Wild Ones, a chapter of national Wild Ones. 1:00 pm - Cleo Lehman will present Fall Magic - Cleo graduated from Morehead State with a degree in horticulture. She currently serves as GCO Scholarship Chairperson and is on the board of the Garden Forum of Greater Akron. In addition, she became a Flower Show Judge in 2003, and is the past GCO Akron District Director and 2004 Convention Chairperson and Hospitality Chairperson. Cleo will show us how to bring new life to our summer containers by removing old plant material and adding a few new plants, so the container will be ready for fall. She will bring in several existing containers, as well as she will create new fall containers. We look forward to seeing you there!!!!
