I am Athena S. Thaler.

I have been a member of the Centerville Garden Club for approximately seven years. During that time, I have held the offices of secretary and vice president. For five years I have been in charge of our exhibit at the annual Americana Festival in Centerville.

In past years I have been the proprietor of Athena Bridal shop for over twenty years. I designed gowns and headpieces for the whole bridal party and generally coordinated the entire wedding
event.

Since retiring, I still continue to design and construct crowns (stefana) for Greek weddings.

My husband and I enjoy traveling and living in our second home in Cancun, Mexico.

I enjoy gardening, of course, plus gourmet cooking and reading.

I look forward to performing my duties as Dayton District Director and working with the clubs in my district. I will enjoy learning about my new job and working with GCO.
